First Grade News

Reading is key part to our first grade program. We have a commitment to make every child a reader. We read aloud, along and/or alone everyday. READ, READ, READ is our motto! Reading fluency is achieved through practice. We encourage each 1st grader to read at home at least 15 minutes each night. In first grade, learning to read is a team experience: parent/child and teacher/child.
