Michael Parham is serving in his second term and will serve as Board President for 2012. With a high interest in the green movement, Mike has provided strong leadership in the area of energy conservation and education, with the District being recently selected to receive the California Green Schools Leadership Award.

Carolyn McInerney is in her third term and will serve as Board Clerk for 2012. In addition to her local involvement, Carolyn has been appointed to the California Commission on Teaching Credentialing by former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Gavin is a scientist and managing consultant with Huntley-Fenner Advisors, a science and engineering consulting firm. His doctorate is in Brain and Cognitive Sciences and he has published research regarding language acquisition and the early development of mathematics. He was a founding member of the Irvine Education Partnership Fund Committee and, prior to joining the Board, he served on the Irvine Public Schools Foundation Executive Board.

Sue Kuwabara is serving in her third term and is currently the CSBA representative to the CIF Southern Section Executive Board and a member of the State CIF Task Force. Sue also serves on the CSBA Nominating Committee and has served on Delegate Assembly for the past nine years.
