Woodbrige High School
Junior Madison Murphy, who was appointed student representative after serving in the same post during the second semester of the last school year, is involved with ASB, the National Charity League and the Junior Classical League. She is also a student representative for the Irvine Public Schools Foundation, a varsity athlete on Woodbridge’s cross country and track teams, and president of Fellowship Christian Athletes. Murphy’s other interests include reading and the culinary arts.

University High School
Senior Jacob Choi was elected as a student board member through a two-round process that featured a general election and an election convention attended by homeroom delegates. In addition to being a varsity volleyball player, home room coordinator and member of the Student Forum, Choi also serves a liaison to both the Irvine Public Schools Foundation and the University High PTSA.

Northwood High School
Senior Claire Kim was selected as Northwood’s student representative through an interview process. She is involved with her school’s student newspaper, The Howler, as well as the Philharmonic Orchestra and the Red Cross Club. Kim’s other interests include reading, writing, playing the bass and cooking. |

Irvine High School
Senior Anderson Shih was appointed as a student representative following an interview process. Shih is vice president of his school’s Student Forum. He also volunteers as a junior ambassador for the Bowers Museum of Cultural Arts, plays the violin in the Symphonic Orchestra and plays tennis for Irvine High.
