In recognition of outstanding service to the
district, the Board of Education may confer an
outstanding service award to citizens in the
community, employees, or employee groups. Outstanding
service includes, but is not limited to the
following.
- Cost saving ideas
- Ideas or actions which improve the operation
of the district
- A special act or service in the public
interest
Unless expressly approved by the Board of
Education, the outstanding service award shall not
exceed $200 in cost.
