No member of the Board of
Education, or officer, or employee, shall have an
interest in any contract with the Irvine Unified
School District, unless such interest is specifically
permitted by statute.
Employees and Board Members will
not accept gratuities from any person, company, or
representative that does business or is likely to do
business with the Irvine Unified School District.
Furthermore, no member of the Board
of Education, or officer, or employee, shall use
his/her position to influence a District
decision in which he/she knows or has reason to know
he/she has a financial interest.
Members of the Board of Education
and employees, as cited in Appendix A, Designated
Positions, P. 7, Conflict of Interest Code, as
adopted 10/25/77, shall file, on an annual basis, a
statement of his/her investments, interests in real
property and income.
