CONTROVERSIAL ISSUES/
LOCAL POLITICAL ISSUES

All classroom instructional programs and/or student activities involving current political issues shall be subject to review and approval by the principal and/or the superintendent to ensure proper planning, appropriateness, objectiveness, fairness and educational value. 

Should declared candidates for political office be invited to school to discuss campaign issues, all such candidates for that office shall be invited. Such invitations shall be extended in writing well in advance of the scheduled date.
