INTERSCHOLASTIC ATHLETICS

The Board of Education of the Irvine Unified School District recognizes the importance and contribution of interscholastic athletics in the District for all students. Athletic activities should be planned in accordance with a student’s total educational program. Compliance with the rules and regulations set forth by the California Interscholastic Federation shall set the standard for students in Irvine. 

The Superintendent or his designee has the authority to represent the Board with the California Interscholastic Federation and the League in which the schools are a member.
