It is the purpose of these By-Laws and
Policies to set forth the broad and general policies of the Board of
Education of the Irvine Unified School District.
The statement of policies is designed to
establish and clarify relationships between the Board, the general
Public, the school administration, teachers, students, and
classified personnel, in order to promote the effective functioning
of the schools in conformity with the program of public education in
California.
The format has been kept simple, but
hopefully with the necessary structure to allow organization for
additions and revisions.
