Some of us were up bright and early this morning while others were exhausted from yesterday. After a hearty breakfast we went on a variety of hikes. We were so happy to have Mrs. Miller and Mr. Cady join us for our activities today. By day's end, we had all climbed the rock wall, walked the rope bridge, built communities in the sand, learned about conservation of water and energy, completed science experiments, made a leather arrowhead and gone on a hike to learn about the plants in the ecosystem. As if that weren't enough, we rounded out the day with tacos for dinner followed by a night hike including a solo walk and mints we could see sparking in the dark. One of the highlights of the day was watching Miss Raths, Miss Nguyen and Mr. Cady flying down the zip line. We are having the best time learning in this unique environment.
