Dear Brywood Families and Friends,

I hope all of you are already on your way to enjoying a wonderful and relaxing summer.  While school is not is session there is still a lot happening during the summer months here at Brywood. The office staff and I are working until the end of June, wrapping up the school year and preparing for next year. We continue to enroll students and assist you in any way we can. The office will be open to the public until June 24. However, I can be reached by email, camoroso@iusd.org anytime. I will check email daily until June 30 and will check weekly during the month of July. I return to work in mid August and our office is open to the public on August 25th.

If you need to enroll a student or know someone who needs to do so, don’t forget the district offers One-Stop Enrollment at Rancho San Jacquin Middle School from July 28 – August 8. Please check the Irvine Unified School District website, www.iusd.org, for more information.

We are planning a Kindergarten Ice Cream Social for our newest students at Brywood in the kindergarten yard on August 20th.  On that same day another social event for our incoming 4th grade APAAS families is also planned.

Our first day of school is Thursday, September 4. Back to School Night for 5th and 6th grade students will be September 10, for 1st through 4th will be September 18. Our kindergarten students will have their Back to School informational meeting on the first day of school.
