About Your Teacher: Jo-Ann Agapito

I was born in the Philippines and moved to Southern California when I was three. I grew up in Irvine and went to Venado Middle School and graduated from Woodbridge High School. Before teaching at Culverdale, I also taught at El Camino Real, Plaza Vista and University Park. After graduating college with a business degree I worked in advertising. I always had a passion to teach kids, so I decided to become a teacher. I continued to receive my teaching credential and masters degrees in Cross Cultural Education and Educational Technology. I enjoy music, reading, traveling, cooking and sports such as boxing andMuay Thai (kickboxing).
