English Learners Program (E.L.D.) |
Our nurse visits Culverdale every day for a portion of the school day. Nurses are on site at scheduled times throughout the year to conduct hearing and vision screenings. Those dates will be communicated to parents the weekly Thursday folder. The school district funds three days per week (4 hours) of health clerk time, depending on enrollment. Our PTA supplements that funding to allow health clerk coverage every day. Additionally, the office staff is CPR and First Aid trained. We ask for parent cooperation to keep your child home if they are ill. We do contact parents when their child becomes ill at school. |
