Free Family Movies on Fridays in October at Woodbury Town Center
Woodbury Town Center will again host the popular Friday Night Flix series during the month of October. Each Friday in October (except Halloween), free family movies will be shown outside on the lawn. Purchase $1 popcorn to support IPSF. Movies start at 7 PM but come early to shop, dine and visit tables from IPSF partners like Excel360 Learning Academy, PlayWell Teknologies and more. The movie line up is: The Lego Movie on October 3, Muppets Most Wanted on October 10, Ghostbusters on October 17 and Monsters University on October 24. 5th Annual Spirit of Excellence Gala Raises Over $435,000 for Irvine Schools
IPSF’s 5th Annual Spirit of Excellence Gala was held on Saturday, September 27th at KIA Motors. Sold out for the fifth consecutive year, the event was co-chaired by IPSF Board member Grace Lin and syndicated sports talk show host Jim Rome. As part of the evening’s program, Rome interviewed NFL great Warren Moon and Spirit of Excellence in the Arts honoree Aditi Roy from the stage. IUSD Superintendent Terry Walker presented Woodbridge High School graduate Nilu with the Rising Star Award following her performance. IPSF and Sports 1 Marketing announced the Dr. Kevin Armstrong Memorial Scholarship for a deserving IUSD student, honoring the legacy of the late Dr. Armstrong, recipient of the Spirit of Excellence in Leadership Award. IPSF Day at UCI on October 25th
IPSF Day at UCI is an exclusive event designed specifically for high school students and their parents, offering insight into the UC Admissions process and campus life. The day includes a variety of faculty, staff and student speakers, campus tour, meal in the dining hall, an opportunity to attend a UCI men's soccer game and more.
