The objective of the IUSD Food Service Program is to partner with parents in their child's nutrition at school. Parents can view account balances and transaction history, set ala carte spending limits, and make deposits directly to their child's account via a secure internet connection through LunchBox.
. Lunchbox and Efunds are two separate entities.

Processing Fees for E-funds:
Processing fees are assessed to cover the cost of processing payments. These fees are charged by Efunds and do not benefit the IUSD budget.

HELPFUL HINTS FOR LOGGING INTO INTERNET DEPOSITS
To use Internet Deposits you will need…
1. Explorer v6.0 or higher

If you are not using a Windows Operating System, or if you do not have Internet Explorer v6.0 or higher, you will not be able to access MY ONLINE LUNCHBOX to view TRANSACTION HISTORY OR SET SPENDING LIMITS.
2. Your student’s Permanent School District ID number (usually 8 to 11 digits).
(This ID is the same ID used to access your Parent Portal at "My IUSD" . Call the school secretary if you have misplaced this ID number)
3. To sign up and receive a log-in password. (Step by step instructions provided below)
4. To set up an e~Funds for Schools account.
How to Make Internet Deposits through LunchBox – Step by Step Instructions
- Begin by setting up an account through LunchBox by clicking on "Check Balance and/or Make Online Payment"
- IF YOU ARE A NEW USER - Select the "Sign Up" button.
* The "Add New User" screen appears
- Enter your email address
- In the name field, please put your name as parent or guardian, not your child's.
- You must use your child’s permanent district student identification number to use our internet deposit service.
Note: This is NOT the 3 - 5 digit number that your child uses in the lunch line. The district student identification number is the same number that you use to access the Parent Portal at My IUSD.
- The following appears "YOUR ACCOUNT CREATED:
Your password will be your email address.
You may change your password once logged into the internet deposit system.
Note: Save your password in a secure location where you can access it later.
- Click on "Check Balance and/or Make Online Payment" to log in
- Enter your User ID (Email address) and your new secure password.
- At "Welcome" screen select "Maintenance".
- Select "Internet Participants" to access your child's account
- or "Password" to change your password.
- Click "Add Participant" to add additional children to your account using their permanent District ID #.
Note: Only students attending schools that have implemented the LunchBox system can have online accounts.
- Select student to view transaction history, set ala carte spending limits or make Internet Deposits using eFunds for Schools.
- Click "Make Deposit" to link to eFunds for Schools to make secure online payments.
- First time users on eFunds will choose a password and method of payment
Hint: You may find it easier to change your password to make it the same for both LunchBox and eFunds.
