Summer requests must be submitted by 5/10/2024.
The use of school property is governed by the Civic Center Act, California Ed Code 38130 and Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) Board of Education Policy 1330 and Administrative Regulation 1330.
IUSD Use of Facilities utilizes an ONLINE REQUEST form. Please click here for an overview of the process. To access the online request form, please select Submit an Application under Quick Links. Each request will be reviewed; approval is subject to availability of facility requested and staff coverage.
Requests should be submitted at least 20 business days in advance. Theater requests can take up to 90 business days to process.
Applications will not be accepted for dates further than 6 months from the time of request.
Although IUSD makes every possible effort to maintain the accuracy of event information posted on school building calendars, at times building calendars may not include nor reflect all contracted events occurring within IUSD facilities. IUSD reserves the right to decline Facility Use Applications that conflict with previously contracted events that may or may not appear on school building calendars posted on the CommunityUse website.
