Pictures News Our class worked together to create a book about Geology for Bobi Primary School in Uganda. This school, like many others in Africa, is in great need of supplies and textbooks. This project was run entirely by students with just a little bit of help from Mrs. Goheen. We formed teams by topic that included writers, editors, illustrators, documenters, and word processors. In addition, we had a leadership team as well as a webpage designer. The first, prototype book has been sent to Bobi. We are waiting to recieve feedback and a photo of Bobi students holding the book before we send a shipment of 30 more. Our book will be shared with The Irvine Unified School Board on May 4th at the District Office. Groups Our leadershhip team, Claire, Irene and Howard, is to the left and our Volcano Team, Alex, Kelli, Jein, Claire, and Elysia, is to the right. This is our Earth's Structure team including Shawden, Hannah, Sofia, Joseph, and Zain from left to right. This is our Earthquakes team, Sheldon, Adithi, Arianna, Jeffrey, John, and our Plate Boundary Team, Mindy, Lauren, Gordon, and Jacob. Andrew, on the left, is the creator of this page. The Earth's Structure team, in the middle, is Stephanie, Collette, Alex, Will, and Heather. Evan, Kian, Kevin, Mark, and Kentaro, on the right, is the Forms of Energy group.
