I love to teach! I have been teaching since 1983 and have taught science to students in grades 4 through 8. I enjoy teaching all areas of science, but oceanography, astronomy and geology are my favorite units.
Growing up in Irvine, I've experienced our schools as both a student and teacher. I attended Rancho Middle School and University High School. I graduated from UC Irvine. I earned a Masters in Education from Pepperdine and achieved my National Board Certification in Early Adolescence Science.
When I'm not teaching science I enjoy spending time with my husband and son. My family loves to travel, go fishing, and snorkeling together. My other hobbies are baking and collecting pop-up books.
