What is One Stop Enrollment?
ONE STOP Enrollment is designed to assist families, brand new to the Irvine Unified School District, with student enrollment needs. It is our wish to make the transition to a new school as easy as possible. With the needs of new families in mind, we have made it possible to enroll all members of the family at one time. Services offered during the hours of operation include enrollment, immunization, and English testing. Creekside High School, centrally located in IUSD, has been designated as the appropriate one stop to facilitate the enrollment process in the past.
Who is Eligible?
All students new to the Irvine Unified School District who begin school in the Fall of 2008 are welcome to participate in One Stop Enrollment. Note that enrollment in year-round schools will occur only at those school sites. In order to take advantage of the One Stop Enrollment process, you MUST complete online pre-enrollment registration PRIOR to coming to One Stop. Once you have completed the process online, print out the completed pages and bring them with you to One Stop.
You must have a valid address in the City of Irvine and within the Irvine Unified School District enrollment boundaries to use this system. Verification of residence is required prior to completing the entire enrollment process.
When Will One Stop Enrollment Occur?
One Stop Enrollment is conducted only on the days and hours displayed above. Thank you in advance for your understanding that this process will occur for two weeks only, Monday through Friday.
Enrollment after the close of One Stop Enrollment will be handled at the school your student plans to attend.
Registration for classes at middle and high schools will occur when school staff return in late August.
Where Do I Go?
Creekside High School is the site for One-Stop enrollment. It is located at 311 West Yale Loop near the corner of Barranca and West Yale Loop.
What Materials Must I Bring With Me?
Please plan to provide the following required documents.
May I Complete All of the Paper Work at the Time I Come In?
Yes. One Stop will provide the opportunity for you to complete all necessary forms.
In order to save time, you may wish to:
- Take the materials/forms home for completion and return them to the school, or you may complete them at the school site, or at the One Stop Enrollment site, or
- Begin the enrollment process on-line instead of completing some paper forms You must have a valid address in the city of Irvine to use this system. Verification of residence is required prior completing the process at One Stop. (See Required Documents.) Some additional information will be required by the school.
What if a language other than English is spoken in the home?
If a language other than English is spoken in the home, language testing is required. We request that you bring the enrolling student with you. State law requires students in grades K-12 be tested for language fluency. Testing will take place between 1:00 p.m . and 6:00 p.m. One Stop ELD Test Schedule
Will There Be Someone Available to Help Me?
Yes. There will be staff available to assist in the completion of this process during the designated enrollment hours. We will also provide language assistance when necessary.
What About Open Enrollment?
I.U.S.D. is an open enrollment district, which means you may request a school of your choice. High School enrollment, however, is closed at this time. (Check our list of Closed Schools.) Unless already closed to further enrollment, all students are entitled to a seat in their assigned neighborhood school. Decisions regarding your student's enrollment in a non-neighborhood school under open enrollment will be made based upon space availability.
How May I Gain More Information?
Information regarding school start times, answers to frequently asked questions about enrollment, and information designed to help newcomers to the community may be accessed from this web site.
A Message from the Superintendent

As you enter IUSD, we are hopeful that One Stop Enrollment, and the staff who assist with the process, make enrollment convenient and relatively smooth for you.
