| A. Reading Comprehension |
- Met in grade level teams to analyze all assessmentdata; PLATO, PrimaryLiteracy and other test data, to develop comprehension strategies for students
- Formed strategic groups of students for additional instructional interventions
- Implemented Read Naturally intervention
- Offered Read 180 intervention class to 17 students
- Participated in 2nd year of EIRM implementation
- Trained instructional assistants to work in small reading groups
- Attended 3 Primary Literacy classes for all new teachers
- Planned and instructed EIRM parents in effective "at-home" strategies at Parent Night workshops
- Participated in CORE+ literacy training for classroom strategies in 2nd and 3rd grade
- Implemented ESL "Reading Smart" program for at-risk EL students
- Collaborated with Support Team teachers to provide effective interventions in reading

- Designed and presented a workshop on further developing into Professional Learning Communities
- Analyzed student data to develop strategic groups to determine additional interventions
- Utilized CORE+ strategies and interventions with strategic and intensive students
- Met weekly in Professional Learning Communities to assess student learning and develop lesson plans
- Developed Professional Learning Community template for tracking student data
- Analyzed students strengths and weaknesses via cross grade level articulation with a PAR Grant opportunity
- Attended SMART Goals training to develop Professional Learning Communities
- Trained and mentored new teachers in BTSA
- Analyzed data and offered before school tutoring to EL students using the ESL Reading Smart Program
- Trained teachers in the Read Naturally Program as an intervention for comprehension and fluency
- Sent new teachers to Primary Literacy training
- Offered 34 before and after school Title I classes in reading and math

- Developed a Kid-Talk Program based on research from the '40 Assets for Children'
- Created a lunchtime activity program, sponsored by the Community Advisory Committee, for socially at-risk students
- Offered a variety of enrichment opportunities through the ACE program
- Continued with a student council program to foster student leadership skills
- Partnered with Families Forward to provide students opportunities to display acts of civic duty and compassion
- Augmented art instruction with an Art Masters program for K-6 students
- Created and offered Science Little League for students in grades 1-3
- Offered a counseling intervention program for socially at-risk students
- Continued 'Principally Speaking' Newsletter for communication with parents
- Received IPSF grant supporting the Science curriculum implementation
- Developed and implemented an "All Star " program that recognizes students who demonstrate the school values
- Mailed monthly Greentree postcards to communicate positive feedback to students
- Transformed Greentree Little Theater through a creative mural highlighting school's "values"
- Purchased technological upgrades: document camera, Airliner, 14 LCDs, 3 printers and 26 computers to support student learning
- Designed a $20,000 remodel of our school library, purchasing new shelving and bookcases to update and renovate library for student use
- Trained entire staff on 'Blackboard 7' and 'United Streaming'
