PROCEDURES

  • ABSENCES: Call the 24-hour attendance line at 949-936-5801 to report your child's absence. Please speak clearly, identify yourself, your child's name, grade level and teacher, and give the date and reason for absence.

  • PICKING YOUR CHILD UP FROM SCHOOL:
    • If you need to pick your child up early from school, you must report to the office to sign your child out.
    • Be sure you are on time when picking your child up at the end of the school day
    • Children can only be picked up by a parent or authorized person, as listed on the student's emergency card.
  • MEDICATION AT SCHOOL: If your child requires medication at school, the medication must be kept in the nurse’s office to be administered by school personnel. By law,the school must follow these procedures.
    • Medicine must be in the original pharmacy bottle, labeled by the pharmacist.
    • Parent and physician each must sign a consent form prior to medication being administered. Consent forms are available in the school office
    • Medication MUST be brought to school by the parent or guardian. At no time can medication arrive at school in a lunch box, baggie, etc. These regulations also apply to non-prescription medications. Non-prescription medications include aspirin, vitamins, cough syrup, cough drops, ointments, etc.
    • Do not ask school personnel to administer medications until the above mentioned requirements are met.
  • DELIVERY OF LUNCH OR OTHER FOOD: All food is to be delivered to the front office; this includes lunches, snacks, birthday treats, etc. The office will deliver these to the classroom teacher.

  • VOLUNTEERS OR VISITORS: All volunteers and visitor's to the school must sign in and pick up an ID badge at the front office. Upon leaving the school, they must sign-out and return the ID badge to the office.
