Before you begin the online application process for employment, you will need to compile the necessary documents and certifications required for your job posting of interest. The following are some general examples of employment requirements. Specific requirements will be listed with each job posting on EdJoin.
All documents must be uploaded and attached to your IUSD EdJoin Application. Acceptable file types include TXT, RTF, PDF, and JPG. Emailed, hand-deliverd, and mailed documents will not be accepted.

Transcripts showing completion of Bachelor's degree and student teaching
Three letters of recommendation
All applicants applying for instructional assistant positions will be required to provide the following documents with a passing score.

All applicants applying for clerical positions will be required to provide an IUSD typing test score or a typing certificate from another agency that meets the following criteria.
Minimum of 3 minutes in length
Gross words per minute reported
Net words per minute reported
If you have taken a typing test with IUSD in the past and need your typing test results, please email HRTesting@iusd.org. IUSD hosts typing tests Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Typing tests are scheduled every 30 minutes. Please call Human Resources at (949) 936-5130 to schedule an appointment.
All applicants applying for administrative positions will be required to provide the following documents.

What can I apply for?
There are several employee categories listed on EdJoin at any given time. Depending on your employment status with IUSD, some of these positions may or may not be available to you. Refer to the descriptions below.
Outside Candidates and Temporary/Probationary IUSD Employees
Candidates in this category may apply for positions on EdJoin as long as the position is not indicated as available for "In-district Permanent Employees Only"
Permanent/Tenure IUSD Employees
In addition to regular EdJoin employment opportunities, candidates in this category may also apply for positions that are indicated as "In-district Permanent Employees Only". However, classified in-district positions are only available to permanent classified staff. Similarly, certificated in-district positions are only available to tenured certificated staff.
Administrative IUSD Employees
In addition to regular EdJoin employment opportunities, candidates in this category may also apply for positions that are indicated as "In-district Administrative Employees Only".
