Meadow Park Foundation
Who We Are
The Meadow Park Foundation is dedicated to improving the overall quality of education at Meadow Park Elementary School through the use of high-tech tools and equipment. The Foundation was established in 1992 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation (Tax ID Number: 33-0508631) and is managed by a dedicated group of Meadow Park parents who raise money to purchase new computers and other related equipment.
By supplementing technology purchases made by the Irvine Unified School District, the Meadow Park Foundation has achieved a 4:1 student to computer ratio, increasing the number of hands-on hours each student spends using a computer during the school year. The Foundation has also funded computer memory upgrades to enhance system performance and enabled the purchase of a variety of associated hardware required to upgrade and maintain the school’s computer network.
The Meadow Park Foundation receives 100% of its financial support from donors, the majority of whom are parents of students enrolled at the school. The Foundation is also supported by donations from corporate foundations and matching grant programs.
If you work for a company that has established a foundation with a focus on educational and technology-based giving, please let us know so we can apply for a grant. In addition, if your company offers matching grants, please be sure to take advantage of them when you make a donation to the Foundation so that the school benefits from your generosity and that of your company.
We Need You
The Meadow Park Foundation meets the second Tuesday of each month, during the academic year, in the school library from 7 to 8:00 pm. Please join us if you want to help ensure that the schools’ students have access to the technology they need to develop 21st century skills.
