Grade Level Supply Lists

Kindergarten Supply List 2008-09

The following supplies are used by all students on a regular basis and donations would be appreciated:

  1. One pack glue sticks (3 or more)
  2. One (1) ream white copy paper (8 ½ x 11)
  3. One (1) yellow highlighter
  4. One (1) Fiskars rounded small scissors
  5. ***Standard backpack, no wheels, straps only.

 

1st Grade Supply List 2008-09

For student’s personal use – Label with student’s name:

  1. One (1) pencil/supply box – “Spacemaker5”x13” (extra long)
  2. Two (2) pocket-type folders (pockets at the bottom)
  3. One (1) “Fiskar’s” brand children’s scissors (pointed, metal blades, plastic handles.)
  4. One (1) box of 24 crayons (No larger boxes please.  Larger boxes will be sent home.)

The following supplies are used by all students on a regular basis and donations would be appreciated:

  1. One (1) large box of Kleenex
  2. Six (6) “Magic-Rub” white erasers
  3. Twelve (12) small WHITE (no colored!) glue sticks – Office Depot or Scotch brand
  4. One (1) rectangular box of baby wipes
  5. Two (2) ream(s) of white copier paper (8 ½ x 11)
  6. One (1) dozen pencils, Dixon Ticonderoga #2 Pencils only
  7. 4-pack of Expo bold color dry eraser markers – fine tip pen size

 

2nd Grade Supply List 2008-09

For student’s personal use - label with student’s name:

  1. Two (2) folders with bottom pockets – no trapper keepers or binders with zippers
  2. One (1) set of colored pencils (24 pack)
  3. One (1) small hand pencil sharpeners that holds shavings
  4. One (1) box of crayons (maximum size 24/box)
  5. One (1) small pencil box to hold all supplies (approximately 5” x 8” x 2”)
  6. One (1) Fiskar’s brand pointed scissors (student size)
  7. Two (2) Magic Rub erasers
  8. Two (2) red ink pens
  9. One (1) 4-oz. bottle of Elmer’s glue (no gel)
  10. One (1) backpack

Classroom use – do not label with student’s name:

  1. Six (6) sharpened #2 pencils with erasers
  2. Four (4) large WHITE (no colored) glue sticks
  3. Two (2) containers of “Wet Ones” anti-bacterial wipes (no Clorox wipes)
  4. One (1) package of white copier paper (8 ½ x 11)
  5. One (1) large box of Kleenex

 

3rd Grade Supply List 2008-09

For student’s personal use – Label with student’s name:

  1. Meadow Park Student Planner (you will buy this at Meadow Park for $3.00)
  2. 3-ring binder (1 ½  inch rings and inside pockets on the covers) NO VELCRO OR BINDERS WITH ZIPPERS, PLEASE
  3. Six (6) tabbed notebook dividers, pre-labeled in this order:  Homework, Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science, Music
  4. One (1) plastic pencil/supply box – 8” x 5” x 2”
  5. Half (1/2) dozen pencils, Dixon Ticonderoga #2 Pencils only (no mechanical pencils)
  6. One hand pencil sharpener that holds shavings
  7. One (1) sharpened box of 12 colored pencils
  8. One (1) box of fine tipped colored markers (8 colors only)
  9. Two (2) “Magic Rub” white erasers
  10. Two (2) highlighters-2 different colors
  11. One (1) box of 24 crayons (No larger boxes please.  Larger boxes will be sent home.)

  2. One (1) or more large boxes of Kleenex for classroom use
  3. One (1) or more containers of “Wet Ones” handi-wipes (no disinfectants, please)
  4. One (1) 4-pack of Expo bold color dry eraser markers
  5. One (1) or more reams of copier paper (8 ½ x 11)

 

4th Grade Supply List 2008-09

  1. Meadow Park Homework Planner (you will buy this at Meadow Park) - $3.00
  2. 3-ring binder ( 1 1/2 inch rings and inside pockets on the covers)  NO TRAPPER KEEPERS, BINDERS WITH ZIPPERS, or BINDERS WITH ACCORDIAN POCKETS(These are too big for the desks and inefficient for the needs of 4th graders.)
  3. Wide-ruled, 3-hole  notebook paper  (Put a supply in your binder and keep the extra at home.)
  4. One package of notebook dividers, labeled as:  MATH, READING, SPELLING, WRITING, GRAMMAR,  SOCIAL STUDIES . SCIENCE/HEALTH, HOMEWORK5.        
  5. #2 wooden pencils - No mechanical pencils     (Students should have 2 or 3 at school at all times.)
  6. One box of markers, fine tip    (No crayons)
  7. One sharpened set of colored pencils  (12 or 24 pack)
  8. Two highlighter pens in 2 colors
  9. White bar erasers
  10. One Fiskar’s brand pointed scissors-student size  (Left-handed if needed)
  11. One glue stick (white glue only)
  12. One zippered pouch for pencils, erasers, and scissors OR small pencil box (approximately 8x2x1)
  13. One container of moist hand wipes  (Small enough to fit in desk
  14. One large box of kleenex to donate to classroom
  15. Luggage I.D. tag for musical instruments
  16. One sharpener with shaving case
  17. A donation of one ream of white copier paper from each student would be greatly appreciated.

4th Grade Book List:   (Please do not read prior to class)

5th Grade Supply List 2008-09

For student’s personal use:

  1. One (1) Meadow Park student planner (you will buy this at Meadow Park)  ($3.00)
  2. One (1) 2 1/2” 3-ring binder, 3”
  3. One (1) spiral notebooks, 100 page
  4. White, lined, 3-holed paper (no perforated edges, please); 50 sheets of paper in binder); keep the balance at home
  5. White board markers (1 or 2)
  6. One (1) sharpened set of colored pencils (12 pack)
  7. One (1) hand pencil sharpener that holds shavings
  8. Pencil box
  9. Colored pens for correcting (red or blue; felt tip please)
  10. One large glue stick
  11. Pencils and erasers (no mechanical) (at least 5 at all times)
  12. One (1) highlighter
  13. One (1) pack of dividers (5 or 8 pack)
  14. Backpack
  15. $10.00 for Colonial Day supplies and math computation workbook
  16. Calculator – leave at home for checking math work

Please mark name or initials with permanent marker on all supplies, including pencils.

The following supplies are used by all students on a regular basis and donations would be appreciated:

  1. One (1) large box of Kleenex
  2. One (1) box of anti-bacterial wipes for students to clean hands with before eating
  3. One (1) ream of copier paper (8 ½ x 11)
As supplies are used up, please give your child replacements to bring to class.

 

6th Grade Supply List 2008-09

For student’s personal use:

  1. One (1) Meadow Park student planner (you will buy this at Meadow Park)  ($3.00)
  2. One (1) ½” 3-ring binder for book report
  3. One (1) 2 ½”-3” 3-ring binder.  No trapper keepers or binders with zippers.
  4. White, lined, 3-holed paper (no perforated edges, please) 50 sheets of paper in binder); keep the balance at home
  5. One (1) set of colored pencils
  6. Clear plastic pencil holder for binder
  7. Two (2) spiral notebooks (90-100 pages each) (no wireless pages)
  8. Colored pens for correcting (blue or red)
  9. One (1) large glue sticks
  10. Pencils and erasers (at least 3 at all times)
  11. One () highlighters
  12. Two (2) packets of 5 tab dividers (no pockets)
  13. Three (3) pocket folders (Science, Homework, Music, and one extra), 3-hole punched
  14. Luggage I.D. tag for musical instruments (if applicable)
  15. Backpack
  16. Book for silent reading
  17. Calculator (used daily at school and home – a must)

As supplies are used up, please give your child replacements to bring to class.
