Field Trip Policy |

The school provides the opportunity for the students to go on many field trips during the year. The PTA works hard to assist any family who does not have the funds available for field trips. Every field trip needs a permission slip, signed by the parents and student, which includes the name of the trip, the dates involved, health insurance information, and medication data. Usually a field trip will entail some costs (such as entrance fees, bus transportation) and checks should be written to the Meadow Park PTA well in advance of the trip. Proper attire for the trip must be worn and the students are expected to exhibit proper conduct at all times. If a bus is used, the driver will cover all bus rules once students are aboard. In the past our field trips have included Knott's Berry Farm, Lakeside Senior Center, Orange County Performing Arts Center, Santa Ana Courthouse, Orange County Marine Institute, the Pilgrim ship, Heritage Hill, Santiago Canyon, and the Barclay Theater, to name a few.
