Diane Zembal

Being a part of the Meadow Park community has been a very rewarding experience for Diane Zembal for the last 18 years. She has enjoyed working with 5th grade students for 17 of those years, and for 14 years she has team taught with Karen Lund. She is excited about teaming with Samantha Webster this year and being able to teach with friends is what has allowed her to bring fresh ideas and a fun approach to learning for her students.
Diane has been married for 21 years to Richard Zembal, the Natural Resource Director for OCWD and a wildlife biologist. They have one son, John who is in 10th grade at Laguna Hills high school. She and her husband met when they were “set-up” for a beach volleyball tournament in Newport Beach. The Zembal family still enjoys playing beach volleyball! Their son, John currently plays club volleyball and also enjoys playing football for the Laguna Hills Hawks! Diane and her son also enjoy sharing the sport of horseback riding. Diane owns a beautiful American Paint horse, named Te’ N Sugar. She has owned horses since the age of seven, one horse for 30 years! John also owns an American Paint horse named Sonny. Currently both horses are showing in Western Pleasure and in gymkhana events.
