Dear Parents,

We have compiled a list of supplies that we would like your fifth grader to have by the first day of school. Please have all items except class donations and group items labeled with your child’s name. We will not be using pencil boxes in the class. Thank you.

The Fifth Grade Team

• 2 three ring binder, 1 inch (clear view front)
  
• 1 set of dividers (The kind with pockets work well.)
  
• 1 zippered pencil holder that fits inside a three ring
• binder (No pencil boxes, please)
  
• 1 pair of student-sized scissors
  
• 2 glue sticks
  
• 1 package of graph paper
  
• 1 small calculator
  
• 2 hard cover composition books
  
• 5 textbook covers large size
  
• 1 set of dry erase markers with an eraser
  
• 4 highlighters (different colors)
  
• 1 dozen pencils all sharpened
  
• 2 red ball point style pens
  
• 1 clear plastic protractor
  
• 1 clear ruler with metric and standard scale
  
• 1 small stapler
  
• 1 Scotch tape
• 1 ream of white copy paper
  
• 2 packages of Post It notes
  
• 2 packages of 3 X 5 colored note cards
  
• Northwood Student Planner – purchase the first week of school - $7.00.

• 1 set of thick Crayola-style markers that will be shared with the class
• 1 set of colored pencils that will be shared with the class

Please No: Trapper Keepers, pencil boxes, or suitcase-size backpacks with wheels & handles.
