Dear Parents,

It is difficult to believe that it is already November … these next couple of months are sure to fly by. We’re coming to the end of our first trimester, so report cards will be sent home with your K-5 students this Friday, November 7th and mailed directly home to the 6-8 parents the same day. Our staff is extremely proud of the progress and growth your children have made since the end of July. You, our wonderfully supportive parent community, played a huge role in this. On behalf of your children’s teachers – thank you. We know we are extremely fortunate to be here at Plaza Vista.

Attached please find the November newsletter. One Item I forgot to include was “Walk to School Wednesdays”! Our Walk to School Day last month was such a success, we’d like to re-establish “Walk to School Wednesdays”. We are lucky to live in beautiful Southern California with weather that other states envy. We’d like to dedicate one day a week to walking to and from school. Not only is it great for our bodies to get some extra exercise, it is better for our environment and since Wednesdays are our busiest traffic days … it is a safety improvement as well!

Our PTA has planned a fun activity on Friday, November 14th. We’d love to see you at our movie night! The fun starts at 5:30, with the movie (Kung Fu Panda) starting at 6:30. Please come join us for an evening of family fun.
