The rives mark the Mississippi River and St. Anthony Falls and the importance of the recourses it provides. Also in the state seal, you see a plow. This shows the agriculture of the people. Behind the falls, you see three trees. These trees represent the state tree and the tree pine regions of Minnesota. The three regions of Minnesota are St. Croix, Mississippi, and Lake Superior.
