Rhode Island’s capital is Providence. It is also Rhode Island’s biggest city.

Rhode Island is a very historical state located in New England in the United States. The state’s motto is hope and it has a couple of nicknames. Rhode Island’s state flag is a an anchor surrounded by the 13 stars symbolizing the 13 colonies. Also at the bottom of the anchor is the state’s motto, hope.

Rhode Island’s state seal is of an anchor just like the flag with the state motto under it. In the circle around it is the name of the state and capital next to the founding year, 1636.
