New York’s Flag is blue. It has two women on each side of a badge.  There is a picture of it on the bottom right corner. New York’s seal is on the left on this page. The seal is really old and it is like it’s flag. New York’s state nickname is Empire State.

The state Motto is Excelsior because it’s on the flag. The state bird is the Eastern Blue bird and it has a beautiful blue body, with a pointed, brown bill, and dark brown toes and feet. The fish is the Brook Trout and it looks like it has a typical trout shaped body.

The flower is the rose, which is obviously red, and has thorns. The mammal of New York is the beaver and it is a semi-aquatic rodent with a large flattened tail. New York does not have a rock, but it has a gem-stone. It is a garnet, it looks like gold, but it’s made up of different minerals.
