         Minnesota's state nickname is Gopher State. The state motto is called the North Star State. The state bird is called the Common Loon. Do you know the state insect is? Well the state insect is called  the Monarch butterfly. Now the state fish. The state fish is called a Walleye. The state flower is a Pink and White Lady's Slipper. The state rock is a Lake Superior Agate. Last but not least the state tree. Mow the state tree is called a Norway Pine.
